Maybe I should say baby makes 5...

No I'm not having triplets but I think it's only necessary that I count the dogs when naming family members. Everyone tells me they will be like chopped liver when the baby comes and that very well could be true by some degree. I already know they are going to drive me crazy because they already do! Especially the little cute one (Lily). I am already learning what not to do....let me share.

Since Lily is so cuddly and lets me do whatevevr I want with her I thought it would be fun to test her in all of the baby stuff (crib, stroller, baby wrap carrier thing, pack n play). Turns out this was not the best idea. I was sitting in the nursery the other night with Lily on my lap in the new rocker (which she thinks is her own personal chair she shares with mommy) when she took a flying leap into the crib and started to get comfortable for a little shut eye,  you know the thing dog's do when hey turn in circles and paw at the surface. Hmm...this is not good. Between Donald and me laughing I immediately took her out and told her no. As most of you know I am not the best at disciplining her so I'm sure she was complteley unphased. This CANNOT happen when our sleeping child is in the crib! Don't worry, we will be baby gating the hallway to the nursery so she can't get in. I completely blame myself, although I could blame the book, What to Expect When Expecting, in week 35 they tell you not to do this, well maybe they should have told the readers a little sooner! Ok Ok I know it's my fault.

I promise to be better whith our child. I told Donald a while ago it's ok that I'm bad at scolding Lily because I'm not trying to make her fit for society. We have hired a dog trainer and she agrees her behavior is mostly my fault but let me just say to you Donald that you are not much better!

On another note- we have had an exciting yet busy week! Donald started his new job as an Application Engineer at Schneider Electric, I'm so happy and proud of him. He loves it so far and I'm happy to have the old Donald back. We all know what it's like to not like your job and that has been the case for sometime now. So YAY Donald!

I'll be in my 9th month of pregnancy next week and aside from not being able to sleep, lie down comfortably, wear my wedding ring, tie my shoes, walk without wincing, eat full meals & pick things up without dropping them, I'm doing and feeling great! ;)

Since this post was largely dedicated to my two furry friends Lily & Bella I will post some pictures of them :)

Have a great weekend! Love, ME

Bad idea #1: Placing Lily in the stroller although she loved being pushed around the house in it!

Bad Idea #2: We all know why, even Lily is looking at me like, "really you are letting me do this?"

Bad Idea #3: Placing Lily in wrap thing. Don't worry I'll wash it before I put the baby in it. It looks like Donald didn't think it was a good idea but is so sweet to me he let's me do whatever I want!

Lily and Bella cuddling, I love Bella, I really do, see I even have a picture with her in it! She's not a huge fan of Lily as you might notice by her refusal to look at the camera.

Just in case you are thinking bad thoughts about Lily right now and what is to come when the baby gets here let us look at where she used to live...the cold lonely Richardson Dog Shelter :( You would have taken her too and she was on clearence only $3.00!

Lily says an early Merry Christmas!

Till next time...Thanks for reading!

Here we go...

Hi Readers, So excited to post my very first blog! I figure we will have a lot happening over the next year and I want to be able to remember every bit of it and share our excitement with family and friends, or at least some of it. I know I can post on Facebook but I'm getting more and more creeped out by FB, I mean do I really want to post all of baby J's first pictures for people that I kind of knew in High School to see and talk about how magical and wonderful or tiring and stressful this new world can be?? No...not really. Not that I think poorly of people who do bc I'm looking and reading and sometimes I'm thoroughly entertained, unless you are posting pictures of what you have for dinner....boring.

I actually meant to do this when I found out I was pregnant but turns out it has been kind of a whirlwind and I now find myself 6 weeks from delivery at 34 weeks pregnant, better late than never! Here's a quick summary: Found out we were pregnant, so completely excited and overjoyed, I took a test in the morning right after Donald left for work and it was positive, I took 2 more just to be sure even though I already knew it. I waited aaaallll day for Donald to get home and I told him right away, we both cried tears of happiness. All was right in our world. About two months later tragedy struck our family when the Lord took Johnny (Donald's dad) away from us. It was such a difficult time and even now it doesn't seem real. We miss him everyday and always will. When we found out it was a boy we decided to name him Jonathan to carry out his legacy even though there will never be another Johnny White.

Without sounding like a complainer I am not one of those women who love being pregnant, I was sick for a good 20 weeks which halted all workouts and I'm not loving the wonderful changes my body is going though while being hijacked by what feels like an alien (I know it's not, it's my wonderful angel) but man it's tough! I wish I had been nicer now to every pregnant woman I have seen. We are so close to this baby being in my arms though so non- complaining session is over!

Ok- now for my first picture posts I'll add some pictures throughout my pregnancy even though most get deleted while still in the memory card due to me thinking I look too much like a whale!

That's all for today!

Happy because we know we are pregnant even though I'm pretty sure I got sick multiple times at this Ranger Game!

Travelled to the University of Cincinnati to see Danny host Relay for Life and I also got to share the good news with them! I made Nancy keep her mouth shut until after Relay was over so I didn't take any of the spotlight off of Danny and his event, this picture shows Nancy almost spilling the beans for the 20th time...What a fun weekend though. I love you aunt Nancy, Uncle Rob & Danny even though Nancy is special.....

Last picture I took of Johnny, at dinner with both families at Bolsa in Oak Cliff, TX

More from that night because it was so fun, even though you would not be able to tell from Donald's non smile ;)

Mom's Retirement party, about 12 weeks pregnant, baby bump or bbq food baby...you decide.

a little bigger bump...with Melissa at Vanessa & Jimmy's wedding.

Happy Wedding Tara & Adam! About 7 months pregnant.

Wonderful, super fun baby shower hosted by Haley, Sharon, Britney & Tara, about 31 weeks pregnant here!
