Hello Readers! wow how time flies. Life is still good for my little family. The Holidays came and went and it may have been one of my favorites yet! We stayed home and had family in and out, went to Nana's, Grandmas, aunt Haley and Uncle Joshy's, spent time with Sharon & Zsolty and lots of friends. I have absolutely no complaints. Jonathan doesn't quite grasp the whole Christmas thing but he does love the "Chemistry's"=Christmas Tree's and the "Chemist Heights"=lights. He oohs and aaws when we drove past them and Donald and I think it's the cutest thing ever.
After months of incomprehensible babbling J finally decided to use actual words! Yay, this came at about 23 months. We were just starting to get a lot of "when is that kid going to talk" speeches from others. I was never worried though, I knew all of the words were up there and he would talk in his own time. Now he talks in sentences and surprise us everyday with new words and phrases. Here are some of my favorites so I won't forget:
Heidi= Lily
Debbie=Grandma-at least it used to be, you refused to say grandma so you finally started just calling her Debbie, haha. You still do occasionally and it cracks me up!
Olive=Ibop
Aunt Sharon=Aunt Shannon
Aunt Haiti=Aunt Haley
Uncle Bop & Aunt Ancy or Nasty haha=Uncle Rob & Aunt Nancy
Whenever you see Asians you point and say Danny bc of one of our very favorite people in the world, uncle Danny.
You seriously have the sweetest disposition and I can tell that you have a very big heart. You love to say Thank you and Bless you and Hi and Bye to people. You hardly ever say no but you do shake your head in protest a lot.
You are fun to drive with and if mommy gets angry at another car and honks you quietly mimic "beep beep" in the background. This makes my road rage immediately disappear. I know I should not have road rage especially with precious cargo in the backseat. Working on that!
Lately you will not get out of your crib after nap time! I have to drag you out after 15-30 min of negotiating and me leaving the room. I think you are giving me a hint of what your teenage years are going to look like. You do say no at night when I sing to you (is that a hint) until I get to a song that you like. Sorry I sang all of these songs for so long when you actually hated them but could not express yourself :(
Did I mention we moved into our dream home that we got to partially build? It is amazing and I have to pinch myself every day that this is my life. My New Years Resolution for 2014 is to simply maintain the relationships I have in my life, provide healthy foods and promote an active lifestyle for my family in hopes of good health, serve others and give thanks for all of our blessings! Happy New Year!
