...and baby makes three: I'm baaaaack

I am giving myself a big F in keeping up with my blog...O well, I've been busy! I am a stay at home, working mom. It doesn't get much busier than that! I wouldn't trade it though. Sure it brings on anxiety, a feeling of not being good enough or spending enough time on one thing but if I don't focus on those things life is much more manageable and happier! Overall we had a great 2014. December brought some hard times with it but we made it through. I unfortunately joined the millions of women who have suffered a miscarriage. At 11 weeks we learned out little angel's heart stopped beating. It was a shocking blow that I was not prepared for. Once you go through this you look at it completely different. Even though it is God and mother natures way of protecting us it is still a huge loss that has to be grieved. I didn't intend on sharing this when I started this post but why should I not? I'm not ashamed and I don't look at it as some secret that needs to be tucked away. It was a life that is now in heaven and one day I will meet him or her with loving arms. Donald and are grateful that we have Jonathan and are able to conceive and one day when God finds the timing good we will grow our sweet little family.
Jonathan is 3 and has a HUGE personality. I can't say we really went through the terrible two's. He's overall a really good kid. He doesn't get into much, I can count tantrums on one hand, he has good manners and is so incredibly loving. He got a baby cousin, Hudson, in November that he adores. My love for Jonathan grows daily. Ok Ok, yes we have some long days where I'm convinced he is hard of hearing because he talks about 3 octaves higher than necessary and sometimes he will just bite me for no reason and he has a slight addiction to the ipad and if we didn't regulate the usage he would need to go through a detox program FOR SURE....BUT overall he's a good kid and we are lucky!
